​Career: 
This is Mrs. House's 10th year at Philomath Elementary School and her 22nd year of teaching! (Wow! That went fast!)
Before coming to Philomath she taught 5th and 6th grade in the Lebanon and Centennial School districts as well as at Crossroads Christian School in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Warner Pacific College with a degree in Human Development with an Education Minor, and has a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Western Oregon University.

Mrs. House has been married to Rolland House for 23 years! They have 2 children, Lindsay (12th grade,) and George (8th grade). She loves to travel, and she has been on 3 teaching mission trips to Tirane, Albania, as well as to the Village of Hope in Ghana, Africa. In her spare time, Mrs. House loves to sing, read, watch movies, spend time with her family, and attend church events. In the fall, she LOVES to attend OSU Beaver Football games!!

Jennifer House grew up on a farm in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. As a child, she was active in softball, basketball, volleyball, downhill skiing, and 4-H. After she graduated high school, she lived in Tokyo, Japan as a Rotary Exchange Student. When she returned, she decided to go to college in Oregon, and she's never left!
